CECILIE BAHNSEN PRESENTS PS25 COLLECTION
THE EDGE OF BEAUTY
Expanding upon new emotions presented last season, Cecilie Bahnsen’s Pre-Spring 2025 collection steps away from sweetness and innocence, into embracing the power of femininity. This grown-up vision of the brand focusses on separates and layerability, inviting the wearer to bring their unique sense of style to each piece. Feeling confident, comfortable and true to her own desires, Cecilie presents evolving styles that mature alongside the brand. Clothes designed to fit the rhythm and life of the women who wear them. Finding inspiration in the diverse spectrum of women who wear her clothes, Cecilie offers something to loyal followers of the brand who have been here since the beginning as well as something for those who are new to the universe.
This season, soft tones of greys and chestnut are balanced by subtle hints of sorbet, olive and silver offering a new, moodier, palette for Spring, reflecting a feeling of contemplation and the energy of the times. This paired-back palette is presented through a range of separates presented as slim silhouettes that maintain a dreamy sense of femininity integral to the brand’s DNA. Nightgown-like wrap dresses and delicate overlays are showcased, while softly draped ruffles feature throughout the collection, both as trim and as appliqué. Balancing femininity with a technical edge, intricate couturier fabrics, such as the Kado Fil-Coupé, uniquely combine a techy material with a romantic, airy feeling.
Continuing an ongoing partnership with Nona Source, the collection heavily features deadstock fabrics that have been reinvented through Cecilie’s lens, working towards a more circular way of creating. The range in fabrics from Silk Satin, to Canvas, to Denim highlights the endless possibilities created through this collaboration. The denim presented in the collection is crafted from recycled cotton scraps, OCS certified yarn and 100% traceable products from the European circular economy
Cecilie Bahnsen continues to explore her approach to denim as an essential category for the brand, drawing on workwear and utilitarian inspirations, reimagined through a lens that is uniquely CB. Shorts, dresses and jackets are impeccably detailed offering a feminine touch to highly functional fabrics. This season, Cecilie expands her offering of shoes with silhouettes ranging from signature chunky sandals to delicate ballet flats, embracing different forms of femininity. For the first time, introducing an effortless slingback heel drawing inspiration from the 90’s era, and Japanese design. Creating new ways to imagine head-to-toe looks.
The campaign, shot at Copenhagen’s V1 Gallery by Lana Ohrimenko, features three women initially cast for the brand’s FW24 runway show. Cecilie was inspired by their unique personalities and the energy they brought to her universe and invites them once again to bring her clothes to life. As a collection made for women, by women, the campaign is a further extension of this celebration of femininity and individuality.
