The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert has reopened its magical restaurant, Kan Zaman on October 21st, and is inviting guests to dine under the stars with lively entertainment. Kan Zaman has reopened in time for the outdoor season with a decadent menu of Arabic BBQ dishes and refreshing beverages, making it the ideal venue for guests and local residents to enjoy a laidback dining experience with a cosy bonfire and to the relaxing sounds of the Oud.
The resort’s award-winning team of chefs has prepared a diverse menu using locally sourced ingredients, along with underground cooking so that guests can experience grilled specialties prepared on live stations. Dishes include a selection of mezze, salads, underground cooked lamb, beef or fish and Arabic desserts.
With some of the best sunset views of the Ras Al Khaimah coastline, guests can also spend casual evenings enjoying relaxed authentic outdoor seating, while sampling sundowners along with a flavourful shisha and a lively belly dance performance. Kan Zaman also caters for those looking to capture an Instagram moment as the prime desert views provide the ideal backdrop for that cherished photographic moment.
Mixing flawless food with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, Kan Zaman is also a brilliant location to host private dining events. The licensed restaurant operates every Saturday from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. for dinner and shisha.
Packages start from AED 285 per person including soft beverages, AED 435 per person including house beverages, and children up to 12 years old can dine for AED 145.
